Blippar teamed up with the Oxford Cambridge and RSA (OCR) exam board to host an exciting webinar for teachers across England, diving into the transformative world of Augmented Reality (AR) in education. The ‘Blippar for Education’ training session was designed to introduce teachers to the no-code AR tools needed for OCR’s Cambridge National in IT, specifically Unit R070: Using Augmented Reality to Present Information, with an emphasis on making AR accessible and user-friendly. The session was an interactive exploration of how AR can enrich the digital learning experience for both students and educators.

Navigate the Blippbuilder platform: From creating simple AR overlays to building fully interactive experiences, teachers were guided through Blippbuilder’s features and layout, making it easy to start creating AR projects.

Configure visual and audio assets: Teachers explored adding multimedia elements to bring lessons to life, enabling students to experience subjects in a new, engaging way.

Design with “Actions and Events”: By using flowcharts, teachers could see how various interactions can be triggered within the AR experience, creating a hands-on, immersive environment for students.
The workshop culminated with an open Q&A, where teachers shared their ideas and discussed specific questions, receiving real-time support from Blippar’s team.
